Dear friends and supporters

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that the one world foundation has opened a new guest house: the “House Above Trees”. Thanks to the support of TV producer and art critic Traudi Messini, it was possible to realise a spectacular building by Carl Pruscha at a lofty height among the palm trees and with a view of the sea. Special thanks also to Valerie Messini and Ronald Jaklitsch for their architectural support and to Martin Haferl for his structural expertise. In times of pandemic and economic-political crisis in Sri Lanka, the new guesthouse is a nice reason to nevertheless look to the future with confidence. However, we are concerned about the enormous inflation in Sri Lanka of currently more than 60%. The school materials (such as books, exercise books, pens, etc.) that we provide to our students have even become more than 200% more expensive. As you can imagine, we are in urgent need of support in this difficult situation. We would therefore like to sincerely ask you to contribute to the continuation of our school operation, which has been running successfully for 27 years.
