To date comparatively few people in Sri Lanka have been infected with the coronavirus, much less than for example in Austria. Currently, only about 250 active cases are known. However, the economic impact of the coronavirus crisis is all the more dramatic. Strict entry regulations and massively reduced air traffic still prevent tourists from entering the country.

As a result, the one world foundation’s Ayurveda Resort also finds itself facing large difficulties. With our income having completely dried up, we’ll soon no longer be able to cover our fixed costs, like the salaries for our approximately 30 employees, maintenance, and many more. Therefore, we greatly depend on your support.

We are pleased to announce that two days ago our Montessori preschool classes could also take up their lessons again. By and by all of the one world foundation’s educational programs recommenced, albeit somewhat narrowed as only a limited number of students are permitted in each class. So the first steps have been taken towards normality.
